QuickNFO is a really easy-to-use NFO / ASCII art viewer application for OS X which offers you an extremely simple GUI to open NFO files. What sets QuickNFO apart from other tools of its kind is that it does not require any font to be installed on your Mac.
Furthermore, you have several ways to open NFO files with the application. First of all, you can simply double click on them after making QuickNFO the default NFO viewer on your Mac. Secondly, you can use the classic File > Open command or CMD + O.
In addition to viewing NFO ASCII art, you can save NFOs to a different format supported by various common applications. The other supported output formats are unicode TXT and HTML, which can be opened with any browser or word processor. Battle brothers save editor.
Furthermore, QuickNFO installs a very handy QuickLook plugin for previewing the NFO files on your local disk via OS X's built-in preview tool. With just a stroke on the Spacebar, the ASCII art in the NFO file you've selected will be displayed.
In what concerns the looks, the application does not display any other elements besides the title bar and scroll bar. It only offers you a preview of the NFO file, allows you to save it to a different format, and nothing else.
